Disinfecting Water Connections

I have a small spray bottle of bleach mixture I use to spray the city water connection at the park before I hook up my hose. I have seen folks put their sewer hose to the faucet and run water to clean out. This way, who knows what the previous individual has done.

We full time and I always keep about 1/3 full of water in my fresh water tank. I try to empty and refill each season. Never know what you might run across. I try to sanitize once a year but don't always happen. We've had no issues and continue to enjoy.
