Disinfecting Water Connections
I just purchased a new TT and haven't used it yet. I know I have two available water intakes. With the city water connection, do I need to disinfect it and the kitchen and bath faucets? If so, how?...

I don't bleach any hoses, hose bibs, connectors or what have you and I don't use a filter. I use a cap of bleach in the spring to nock out the plastic smell more than taste from my water tank. If the fill cap is particularly dusty on my rig, I hose it off before opening it to fill up.
I bought a white hose to store in the camper but most of the time I use a regular garden hose. The dog and I both drink from the hose when it's hot.
Been doing that for a long time, not dead yet :)
Oh, I'm one of "those people" who don't wear gloves at the sani-station either. I just wash my hands after the dump!
