Disinfecting Water Connections

Nothing specific to your connections needs anything more than the normal water system sanitizing. You should have received instructions for sanitizing your water system with the RV when purchased but in general terms, add household bleach to a solution of 1 cup per 5 gallons of capacity, open water lines individually until bleach solution can be smelled coming out then close and move on to the next faucet. When bleach solution is everywhere in your system, allow it to stand for several hours then flush with plenty of clean potable water until bleach odor is gone. Fill with potable water and your ready to go. It is generally recommended that system be sanitized at least once a year.
