Dual Axle Leveling help

We use the orange lynx levelers. I have 2 sets and havent needed any more but I am picky about what site I park on. Any chance you are going to "Country on the River"? If so that is a hilly nasty camp ground. It was an old pasture converted over for this and camping was not a priority.

The rubber pad is intended for use with the jack. You could check with Andersen if it can be used with the levellers but I'd think you'd want 2?

We haven't had any slipping or breakage with ours. Our trailer is 5500# loaded. They've been used on 6 trips so far ranging from 3 days to a week. We haven't used them on pavement though, it's been dirt or gravel. We have one trimmed to fit in between the wheels and the other we didn't trim. Our trip coming up this weekend I think has a paved service so I guess we'll see how they do there.

Tandems or duals ?

We use the Anderson levelers and love them. I needed to trim the one leveler to fit between the tires, but that was expected. Our trailer is around 6k lbs and haven't had any issues. We also have the Anderson jack.

2X6's with bevels cut on them. Stackable, and I have holes drilled in them to stake them down to keep them from sliding. I'll stack up to 3 of them, if I need more I'll move the TT.

I do festival camping every August in a farm field that is not particularly level. I carry four 2"x8" boards at 4', 5', 6' and 7' in the basement of my fiver.

I carry a 4' carpenters' level with me so that I know when I'm level. I stick it across the floor in the middle of the rig, raise one end until the bubble is centered, then multiply the gap at the end of the level by 2 (since the trailer is 8' wide. This lets me know how many boards I'll need.

I just stack them up as needed (leaving the first foot of each board sticking out below the board above it) and back the trailer's low side right up onto the boards. DW tells me when to stop so that I do not drive off the back of the boards.

My dual axles are spaced pretty wide, but the both fit comfortably on the 4' board with at least a foot to spare. This has worked well for me for at least 5 years, and I've never had a board crack or rot or get gnarly looking. If the bottom board looks ugly, I put it in the bed of the truck until it's bone dry, and then brush off the mud/funk/grass later.

Lynx blocks work. We carry 3 sets of them and a few pieces of wood. The lynx blocks are lighter and won't add weight if they get wet. Plus if you get dirt or mud on the blocks, you can rinse them off. Rinse the wood and it stays wet for a while. Since it's a trailer, I assume you must be pulling with a truck? You can get away better and easier throwing 5' sections of wood in the back of the truck. We are limited on space in our Class C and don't want to have to dig out the wood pieces of that size. Like I said, we do carry a few pieces with us, but they are no more than about 18"-24" in width.

I'm the only poster on this board (that I know of) who's reported breakage. I have a dual axle 5er, and @ 12.5k, it's not that heavy.

I cut off 4" (per mfr) to fit between tires. However, I soon discovered that they kept breaking at the 'belly button'. After breaking 3, which the company was glad to replace, I gave up. There's nothing like hearing that CRACK in the middle of the night to give you a start.

I really like the idea, and they do work well as designed. I would be using them today were it not for that little problem.
