I had a service person tell me the only kind to get was the kind that gave the repair person a Credit Card number to be billed by the repair person. The ones that gave purchase orders were bad. The repair person calls the warranty company and the company authorizes the repair. Then one of two things happen.
They either give the repair shop a CC number and the shop runs it. It is either good and you get your repair or it is bad and you do not.
With a purchase order type deal you are on the hook for the repair and the repair shop has a mechanics lean on your rig. A lot of shops refuse to deal with P.O. warranty companies.
Find out how the company intends to pay the repair shop.
