Forest River Wildwood vs. Forest River Surveyor Legend???

At a recent RV show, the mfg rep really sold me on the Forest River Surveyor Legend as superior construction (aluminum frame, walk-on roof, less maintenance/seals?) but the wife likes the Wildwood bunkhouse. Is there more annual maintenance on the Wildwood? Is it inferior construction due to wood vs. aluminum? We're buying our first RV and need utility (my concern) and style preferences (wife's) + sleeping space for our large family. Thought I'd try this group for advice. Thank you!

    “Less maintenance” shouldn’t be on your list. IMO they are mostly the same in needed tasks. Just do it! Buy the floor plan your wife likes best.

    Surveyor makes a bunk house model in the Legend Series. I think you would have to step up to the Wildwood Heritage Glen models to be comparable to the Surveyor. We have had 9 trouble free years out of our Surveyor Select. Wood and aluminum is bound to be heavier to tow.
