Fridge - Not Level overnight?

We are leaving early friday morning for Death Valley. We usually have our camper in storage, but want to bring it to our house to load everythign up and leave it overnight on our street which is NOT level, and I'm not sure I can even find a level street within 2 blocks of my home.

Is it ok to leave the fridge on overnight with it not level? I can either park it where it is not level side to side, or front to back, is it worst one way or the other?

My other option is to turn on the fridge a day or two early, load it all up when it's cold and ten turn it off when I get it to my house and it's unlevel. Then turn on when we are leaving? Would that work? or still injure fridge?
  • It can be unlevel by a half of bubble (You would need 2 inch block under wheel to make it level)for overnight without a problem.

I park mine out front of the house overnight with the trailer unlevel side to side and front to back and the frig stays cold.
  • How not level is it? Get one of those round bubble levels and if any part of the bubble is in the circle when placed on a fridge shelf, you should be just fine. Can you not level it while on the street?
  • According to the place that rebuilt the cooling unit in my old TT, damage begins in as little as 15 minutes.
If you are out of level over night then you will absolutely destroy the cooling unit.
If its cold enough outside then you could just leave it off.
Maybe you could put some ice (blue ice?) in it to keep it cold overnight so you can just shut it down.
