Gas or Diesel

I have had both and in your situation would stick with gas. You will pay more for the diesel, oil changes costs more, 2 batteries to change out, diesel fuel is 2 bucks more a gallon, at least now but has always been more than gas and the little bit of MPG I gained with a diesel does not equate to the higher cost of fuel.
Mine is a daily driver too and currently has been sitting and I have been taking the wifes car because of the fuel cost savings.
