When we had a diesel we avoided the truck lanes unless there was no other option:
- Pavement is always covered in diesel.
- Pumps way too fast and hard to keep from spilling it down the side of the truck.
Unless you are doing a 10-15hr travel day, just fill up before hooking up and standard gas stations work fine.
