You want to go right away and look up cellular internet. This is not Wifu. This uses a 4G network to provide service, it can be hardwire Wifi, or Bluetooth. It has nothing to do with open Wifu junk.
So, start there do not pick the carrier by price. Look at the coverage map and stay inside it. (Yellowstone is out except at Mammoth.)
Now, if you want better and need better, there is satellite. That isn't cheap, but it will be deductible.
I abandon Wifu years ago. I still carry an Alfa box out of habit, but I haven't been out of Verizon 4G where there was anything else to use.

No one is talking about "Wifu."
Phones, dedicated hotspots, and tablets are the only options for devices that connect DIRECTLY to Verizon (or any other cell carrier.) They are not exactly devices that a professional can work on. To connect a PC to a cell carrier network, you need a wifi signal from one of the 3 types of devices I just listed.
