Our company got bought out and our local office will be closing at the end of the year. Thankfully my services are still needed and instead of being asked to relocate, I can work from home. Big relief...

For 7 years I worked from home and the motorhome starting 12 years ago so some of the connections may have improved. So I took nothing sensitive from my computer on the road I connected the laptop on the road via a Mellenicom air card using GoToMyPc and had my 800 number ring to my cell phone. I called on customers if I was in their area as it did not matter if I was in a corn field in Kansas, a casino parking lot or a winery somewhere. It made no difference to my customers and a few of them wound up going full time after seeing what I had going. Go for it and the tax benefits were a big help also. I stopped working 5 years ago and the rig is still going great.
