Thats' funny, I've been a Good Sam member for quite a while now. I've not heard of "Elite" membership.... "Lifetime" members, yes, not not "Elite". I've never been offered "free camping" via Good Sam.
If this is something other than just a simple membership to Good Sam, like Thousand Trails, or something like that .... you REALLY need to think it through before purchasing. Unless you full time RV, you're better off camping with the "pay as you, make your own reservations" plan.
