GoodSam Elite Free Campgrounds

Yea , We got that , first nite is free at many places . Some had three nite minimums , some more ! Elite membership goes to purchasers at my Camping World .

Thats' funny, I've been a Good Sam member for quite a while now. I've not heard of "Elite" membership.... "Lifetime" members, yes, not not "Elite". I've never been offered "free camping" via Good Sam.

If this is something other than just a simple membership to Good Sam, like Thousand Trails, or something like that .... you REALLY need to think it through before purchasing. Unless you full time RV, you're better off camping with the "pay as you, make your own reservations" plan.

The finance guy at our dealer presented us with an option of a few resorts to pick from where we could stay for up to a week I think. You have to sit through a presentation about the resort when you get there. I was promised that there would be no hard sell. Still not sure I'll go.
