Help with plugged toilet :(

second, can you tell me more about the 210 gallon tank, I'm willing to buy that, I have a pickup that can handle that , do you hook up a garden hose and it will gravity feed out ? ( into 6 gal jugs ) or do you hook it up to a pump and pump it out ? or can it do either ?

You could get a 12V marine transfer pump and screw it to a small cutting board and wire it so you could plug it into your trailer plug at the rear of the truck or clamp on or plug into a battery. Otherwise as long as the truck bed is higher than the toilet or gravity fill connection on the trailer you could just use a hose and let gravity do its thing.

I have a 50 gallon tank I purchased at Northern Tools and also have 3 - 15 gallon water barrels, a spare shurflo pump attached to a cutting board and use a spare battery.

You could also look for used/surplus 50, 30 or 15 gallon plastic drums that have been used to ship food products like vinegar or pepsi and other soft drink syrup that can be rinsed out.

I actually use a 110 volt pump and pump it into another 220 gallon tank, that is hooked to a well pump..I'll post some pics when I go there this weekend, so you can get some ideas.

Ah ha, a stationary trailer. Too little water used? Dump valve left open 24/7? No water put into the tank after dumping? Besides TP, 'things' that have not been eaten first going in there? You have the infamous pyramid.

Fill up the tank with as much water as you are willing to carry and dump into the tank. Let it sit for awhile, like days....

Now, you should be able to break up the pile with a sturdy stick or metal bar... Remember, you only have a little 2-3 opening, so you won't have much leverage.. Oh, you'll probably want a mask or respirator, since you'll have to have the hole open to your nose... ;)

Open all the windows and vents in the trailer too...

If you can break up the pile enough, dump it to your septic tank.

Fill it back up again and dump again..

Repeat until you don't want to do it anymore..

Rid-X. But do some research, because there are types that are not safe for RV tanks.

I would just find the skinniest kid in the park ,, offer him 5 bucks, give hin a garden shovel and stuff him head first down the toilet and have him shovel the poop from the pile to the other end of the tank


OR

You could go get a stick and knock that sucker down, and you should be fine, add some water
if your going right away to dump add some hot water to the tank (5 to 10 gallons)with some dish or laundry soap, take it for a bumpy ride it will help loosen things up a little.

make sure you do something sanitary with the stick after

then again you could use your wife's broom handle,, the same one you keep telling everyone she flew in on, just make sure you clean it really good cause that's kinda gross,,,, what were you thinking anyways

Take a couple of empty plastic drums and collect rain water. Pump that into toilet and flush, flush, flush the tank out.


It sounds like the best answer is lots of water.

I would try to fill it with as much water as you can. Dump an entire bottle of Calgon water softener (not the bath stuff) that can be found in the laundry aisle. Let it sit a day or so. The Calgon will soften everything. Then take a long pole and with some strength try to move the pyramid around to dislodge everything. Flush well and keep flushing until you think you have a clean tank. If you have limited water, I would try to have six or seven five gallon buckets of water ready to go. Invest in a clear extension to your sewer hose so you can see what is coming out. Only use Scott one ply or RV tissue in the future. Be sure you are using enough water, even if you aren't hooked up, you will still need a lot of water. Never dump until it is at least 3/4 full. Then be sure to put a gallon or two back in with some RV treatment. We use the GEO method and we have no problems. Good luck, let us know how and what worked.
