Here we go.....

Just made my first reservation for a "shakedown" at a local campground. No hookups but it will give me a couple of days to figure out how to use everything in the rig:h

I will post all of my "mishaps" in a couple of weeks...it should be a good read...LOL

  • "Camping" in the driveway as DiskDoctr mentioned is a good idea. Make sure it includes some meal prep and eating so you don't forget something very important like salt or butter or cutlery.

If you go with the intent of having a good adventure, most any (minor) thing that comes up won't be able to ruin the weekend.
  • Be sure to take a notebook and pen ;)

Before you go, take some time in your driveway and hang out in there, have lunch, make the beds and have a nap.

That will help you make sure you have the basics covered.

We picked up a couple of these at Walmart this year for the camper.

Soft so they don't scratch or mark anything during tansport, soft bottoms are easy on the floor, and can be fluffed up for stiff back or loosened up for lazy support.

Originally got a pair for the kids, but then bought another pair for us! Adds seating and lounging capabilities in addition to the couch and chairs.
