Hi Everyone!My name is Robert. Been mentally swamped for a few months with trailer homework and browsing. Just went to my first RV show this past weekend in Edison NJ with the wife and kids. In the market for a very very specific type travel trailer with a front deck to accommodate a motorcycle.Hope im in the right section for an introduction, i didnt see a new members section.

Welcome, sounds like you are looking for some type of toy hauler. The forum has a toy hauler section. Most toy haulers have a cargo area inside the rear of the trailer but some do have outside decks.I've always wondered about front decks. It seems to me that when you have cargo the tongue weight might be 1,000 pounds but without cargo the tongue weight will be half that amount. I have no idea how you would set up a weight distribution hitch to work for both scenarios.

lol, thanks guys.Hopefully i can find exactly what i need. Anyone know of some travel trailers with the front decks on them?

RoyB on these forums has a PU with a deck on the front, I believe its a StarCraft, but it may be smaller than you're looking for.
Now that RVnMC has proven me wrong, (I've never seen or heard of one of those), if you put 2 500-700 lb. 4 wheelers or motorcycles on the front of that, whats it do to the tongue weight?

I think you are out of luck. I doubt that anyone makes a front deck toy hauler because of tongue weight concerns. You get to much weight on the front of a trailer and it creates handling problems for the tow vehicle because it puts to much weight on the rear axle of the tow vehicle and takes weight off of the tow vehicles steer axle.

yes, its a hybrid though, another style i would like to stay away from.
