I purchased the 3000i for three reasons. 1/key start as I used to set up my wife and the kids and leave for work for the day. They just turned the key. 2/ it has enough amps to run the a/c without struggling. 3/It has a large gas tank. While dry camping before we added solar, it would go 5-6 days charging the batteries before refueling. It also runs for more than 8 hours on full load ie AC use. Yes it is heavy but i installed a hoist from Harbor Freight in the bed of the pick up and for $99 it just picks it up puts it in.
