For most trailers the Honda EU-3000i will provide all the power you need, though as noted it is heavier and sucks more fuel at idle, (Or if you like SIPS cause Honda EU series don't "Suck" as such)
But as pair of 2000's, thugh they weigh more and cost more, and sip more,, Provide a full 30 amps.. Something the 3000 Can not.
