I have a honda 3000 generator I bought in 2005. Works as good today as when I bought it. Which is very good and very quiet. Unless you are in a RV park right next to each other or a very quiet setting people really don't even notice it running 30 or 40 feet away. Many times I have had people walking buy and they notice my generator running only when they get very close. Comments like I didn't even know that thing was running are fairly common. That being said on a pristine lake in a national forest campground with no hookups, and a very quiet atmosphere you won't make any friends with you honda running all day. Most of those locations have fixed hours for generators like 2 or 3 hours morning and evening. I like air conditioning as much as the next guy. But sense I have had it I have only run it all night twice and that's because no one else was around.
