How do I haul water to my camper ?

The same way u get it when camping-I think -happy-camping

Old water heaters make good containers. Just strip the skin off and use a transfer pump.

Why not haul the grey and black out and use the same tote to haul the fresh back in. Of course
the tote would have to be sanitize with bleach before hauling the potable water, but it would solve two problems with one tote.

I would assume some sort of outhouse setup as a toilet. Grey water just run through a hose away from the camper -- as long as it is just the one camper (as opposed to campers at a campground doing that), I don't see that as an issue.

There are several watter bladders, some are designed to sit in the bed of a truck or the back of a van or SUV, some on the roof.. The ones that "Hang low" (Bed level) come with 12 volt pumps as a general rule, the ones that "Ride High" (roof) gravety feed the tanks. Camping world sells 2 of them.

for fresh water we were parked next to a couple last month that were sittin on a lot of a friend. They had a large tote like you see in the back of construction vehicles inside a tube cage. Approx. 4' square all this was on a small trailer. They had a shallow well tank and Just hook on and go to the water fill place and there you go. might want to cover with a dark tarp to keep the sun from helping algae grow.

Cool idea, but not practical. This would require 2-3 prefilters ahead of the RO filters, which I dont think you would want to ever change without a gas mask and rubber gloves! And, the sheer number of prefilters required would be a $$$ shocker.

You also need contant line pressure to run the RO, meaning your trailer pump would be cycling all the time as water is filter and it filled the small stoarge expansion tank.

Worst of all, many solids would remain in the tanks and slowly harden at the bottom, much like a septic tank, if they are never drained/flushed.

Sorry for the long winded take down, but I wanted to squash this before someone really spends money to try it!

There's ways to do it cheaper with a sand filter, etc. You're right though, it can get expensive.

Northern Tool (stores or internet) has a 12volt transfer pump on sale for $49.
