how to decide on buying a trailer - the dream vs reality

so the wife and I just can't seem to figure this out. we have 3 kids (11, 8, and 5) and just got back from a trip and rented a trailer. loved it. didn't like the feeling of staying in a rental thou...

holy moly, I just called a Coachman dealer and enquired about a smaller camper and he had no idea what payload max was all about. I spent the call trying to explain it to him before hanging up. Dangerous.
