how to decide on buying a trailer - the dream vs reality

so the wife and I just can't seem to figure this out. we have 3 kids (11, 8, and 5) and just got back from a trip and rented a trailer. loved it. didn't like the feeling of staying in a rental thou...

I have had new and used since getting into this in '69. My wife was concerned about having a used mattress. One salesman said get a new mattress and don't feel bad because the new ones from most manufacturers are junk anyhow. The used ones have been the best buys for us. I have had 5 MHs and 6 various trailers from a TT to popups.
