We are fortunate to be able to park our RV trailers here at the house and there is another side to having the RV trailer at your house to use. It is a perfect getaway for us anything we have to urge to just get out of the house. Can spend the night in the RV trailer in our CAMP BACKYARD, watch TV, listen to the radio etc... The RV kitchen is of course another fridge and microwave to use when you need it...
This is really great for visiting grandkids - its like a hotel to them...
When the power goes off in the county for long period of times we don't miss a beat... The RV Trailer is setup and ready to go for us and will provide all the things we need to have running from the on-board batteries and Inverter etc. I can run a couple of extension cords back to the house to run a few things there including our house fridge to keep from losing our fresh meats...
All we have to do is a quick three hour run of our 2KW Honda generator the next morning to recharge the battery bank using smart mode charging technology and ready to go again of the next day/night run off the batteries...
The only problem I seem to keep running into is having enough gasoline on hand to run my generator for three hours each day as all of the local gas stations lose their power the same time we do and can't pump gasoline haha...
Sure is nice to have this PLAN B working for us...
