We use the Senior Pass for the National parks. Getting the 50% off for the camp sites is great...

When you are 62, buy a Senior Pass at most National Parks for 50% off on camping and some other fees as well as free admission to all National Parks.
The pass is a one time fee of $10 and applies to all federal lands, including USFS and BLM campgrounds as well as the national parks. At these campgrounds our average cost is around $7 a day. - accsysExplorer

The Senior Pass doesn't expire. However, if you lose it you need to purchase another. No replacements.
It does expire when the cardholder does. :-( - 2gypsies1Explorer III

there is also the Moose ( http . loom.net) and Elk that have limiited camping for low rates for thier members
I joined the Moose Lodge when I was young and naïve about their membership. A couple friends sponsored me. I mainly did it to use restaurant and lounge facilities with my friends. One day I found out I couldn't take a couple of my black friends into the restaurant and lounge for lunch. I never went back again. I should have realized there was a reason there weren't anyone except whites around. If they would have only broke out the sheets and hoods at the joining ceremony. I would have left immediately and saved some money on the dues. Not to mention the embarrassment I felt in front of my black friends. AFAIK the Elk's aren't much better. They changed their rules against black membership before I joined the Moose Lodge, but still "Black Balled" other people "not of good character". - doxiemom11Explorer IIPassport America is a camping club that discounts sites 50% at their participating parks. There is no age requirement. We also find that it saves us a lot of money when we travel. We also have Good Sam and the senior pass for national forest parks.
- westendExplorerOn your 62nd birthday, get the America the Beautiful pass. They are in discussions to raise the price of the pass but it would still be one of the best bargains for RV'ers.
