When we bought our first RV (motor home), The dealer knew that we had no experience whatsoever. Knowing that he went into and showed us many details that a more experiences couple would probably have known. After the sale was completed, when we went to pick it up, he told us to come early and allow some time. On arrival, he had the tech person take us to the rig, and went over all the mechanicals, jacks, power, water, heating, Air conditioning, tires, and everything we might need to know. After that, the owner of the dealership came out and spent another hour or so going over lots more things to do and Not to do, and explained much of it in "If you do this, this is what it will cost to repair or replace" terms. Things like putting a antenna clip on the steering wheel to keep from drivin off with the antenna up. It really scares me about ho w many new owners on here tell how they just bought a new, expensive rig and just got in and drove it off with no instruction or directions.
