Howdy!
We are about to take delivery of our second fulltime uint in a few days. I have advised the dealership that I would not take delivery of the unit unit until everything is right, and at that time they would get paid. The unit is setting on the dealers lot and they contacted me stating it was shipped with the wrong couch. When I asked about it thinking the wrong color they advised no wrong one. They advised it was useable and we could go ahead and pick it up. I asked if they we are going to bring the right couch to us which is two hours away when it come in and install it and their answer was NO.
Our first 5er when we pulled it off the lot a mile down the road the Prodigy brake control advised we had no brakes. Called the dealer at once and they advised to spray WD40 on the connection. It took me eight months and three times leaving the 5er at the dealership to finally getting the problem fixed.
So do a very good PDI new are used and don't pay for it and leave with it until everything is correct. They (dealer/seller) will fix things much faster to get you money than once they have it.
