Leveling Clarification

I just got Andersen Levelers. They are SO much easier than the Lego blocks. They will raise from 1/2" to 4" and support 30,000 pounds. They are sold singly so they are expensive - $40 each - but so well worth it. No more guessing how many blocks and if there are enough blocks.

This is what most of the folks are talking about. As you can see they are quite large and heavy. That is why I went to the Ramps,I dont have to cart those big heavy wood ramps or a lot of bags of of the Lego blocks like WBwood.

To get the same amount of lift that he got with his 3 bags I just use 2 ramps and save all that time assembeling that pyamid. If I need more than what the ramps will provide I have 2 small pieces of wood to put under them. I have never been in a campsite where it has been needed.

Call me a total newbie ... but I just can't invision how you level using just wood. Does anybody have pics?

For long term parking, I would go with wood blocks...

Nekkidfish...we have a class c as well and the Lynx levelers.. we have 3 sets of them and sometimes its not enough to be perfectly level...if it's a short trip, then close enough is good....if a week long, we will want it pretty close to perfect.

Rocks don't stick into the large support pattern on the bottom. Although they're a little bulky for storage, they're super easy to clean and lighter than 2x8. However, I keep a few pieces of 2x around for extra lift. If you place a length of 2x8 on top of the Tri-leveler, you get an (almost) infinitely variable ramp. They work well for my single rear wheel truck, you would simply need one for each rear wheel. If you tie a little rope to the handle, it makes retrieving the inner-wheel leveler easier, without crawling under the camper.
