We had a 28' sportsmen with a single 15K non-ducted AC on the Texas Gulf Coast.
It worked fine except on the hottest days. There were days when it would be 100 outside and the AC gave it all it had to hold 85 inside.
The main problem was it was Very NOISEY. A non-ducted AC is Very Loud inside. The ducted system produces much less noise inside the camper.
Our last two were a 35' TT and a 32' FW, both with ducted systems. Either has no problem cooling the camper down into the 70' during the hottest of days down here. Both have a single 15K AC. I'm sure better insulation plays a big part in this.
