- IvylogExplorer IIIThe brand that weighs the least. A Ford V10 in that small of a class A should get 8-10 mpg at 65 mph. Slow down to 55 and you might get as much as 12 without a headwind. A good head/tail wind will change your mpg by 1+ mpg.

If you are asking for an idea what it wil cost to operate, just figure 5 mpg and figure fuel cost at $5 a gallon.
Lol....OP is in Florida where gas is about $ 2.29 a gallon ( yesterday anyway), and no real hills (unless your cycling) so he/she can use a much better 6.5 to 8.5 mpg !
Welcome, as stated above RV'ing and MPG have no real connection (Unless you are just trying to budget for a up coming trip). If mpg is a big concern, you may want to look into the diesel class Bs!
Good luck! - Captain_HappyExplorerIf it's got a Ford V-10 in it, figure 7 MPG. Doesn't make much difference if it's a 25 footer or a 34 footer. Like the man said, If your looking for a cheap way to travel, this ain't it".

what brand of mh gets the best mpg? we are considering a vegas 24.1
I would hope that someone comments on the specific model that you mentioned because.......the "brand" really isn't a good way to ask the question.
It would help others to give you a good answer IF you would specify the model YEAR that you are looking at and what the engine is. - rhagfoExplorer IIIIf you are asking for an idea what it wil cost to operate, just figure 5 mpg and figure fuel cost at $5 a gallon.
- downtheroadExplorerWelcome to the Forum...
I'll just add to what has already been posted.....Please don't get the impression that folks here on the Forum are rude. Most are not. Basically, what they are telling you is that RV'ing is not a way to save money when traveling and vacationing.
Owning, maintaining, and operating an RV, is overall more expensive that car and hotel travel.
Anyway, good luck with your search. - 2oldmanExplorer IIA hotel.
- TheLuvShackExplorerWelcome to the forum. You might feel some of the responses you've received are a little terse but you asked an age old question that has already been answered many many times on this forum. This forum's search engine is very easy to use. Try it first. Lots of good research there. Can't find the answer, then post the question.
- Jebby14Explorerprius and hotel combo. if you aren't happy burning some dino juice this is the wrong path for you
- gboppExplorerMotor Homes are not popular for good MPG.
Find what you like and the floor plan that works for you. Then take it out and enjoy your travels.
Driving slower, properly inflated tires and a good running engine generally gives better mileage.
You can't compare a motor home to a car or light truck when it comes to MPG.
