My research is running me in circles!

I bought my used 24' TT for just under $11K, it is in excellent condition and is fully self contained. Throw in your estimate for a truck at $20K and you're in for $31K. However, I bought a trailer that could be safely and easily towed by a 1500. It weighs 5500# loaded and has all of the room you need and is ready to go on vacation now. The school bus idea might sound good now but after driving it a few hundred miles in a day your husband won't think so. Those buses aren't geared for highway speeds and they handle like a tank not to mention how much insulation you would for sound abatement. Go with something that is purpose built and I think you will be much happier in the long run.
