The OP is correct that a truck or SUV and small, lightweight travel trailer is the best bang for the buck.
+1; when we bought our new MH went as short as possible for what we wanted. It's 25 ft the smallest NP CG we have been in it with was Guadeloupe mtn. Parked the JKU at right angle to RV just fit at 29 ft total.
