I agree wing... I got 25 percent off of a upper 30's rig, and had to work hard for that. Doing several price comparisons to get them to the table. I think alot has to do with what your local market is like. Mine has a fair amount of competition (three dealers nearby), but one dealer is CW, so it's hard to use them as competition, since my local dealer beat them without trying. I had to use RVwholesalers price and beat them down to something reasonable. Basically calculated what it would cost me to go to Indiana and get it, added that to wholesale price, and decide that's where I needed to be. Got close enough to make it worthwhile but it was alot of work.
30-40 percent would have never happened at my dealer. They would have told me to go on up to Indiana (in fact they did at one point). Guess Im a horrible negotiator.
