New battery box install almost complete
I am almost finished with my new battery box install. All I need to do is crimp and solder the lugs on the inter connect cable, and build the cables for the positive and negative sides of the battery...

It looks like the terminals come pretty close to the cover of the box. It may be overkill, but you might want to consider putting an insulator between the terminals and the cover.
