The problem is you don't know what that stated payload takes into account.
The stated (written on the door label) payload is the difference between the curb weight and GVWR - basically your vehicle full of fluids (no occupants). What I was wondering is has anyone taken their vehicle to a scale to determine with just the vehicle and a full tank what their actual payload is using the stated GVWR?
