Your payload rating is not 1600 lbs for that truck, more like 1400, comparable to similar 4x4 CC 1/2 ton trucks. Subtract everything put in the truck, cargo, passengers, weight of WDH, and you'll have the true payload rating remaining.
Now you can decide if you want to listen to the majority of 1/2 ton users that will either exceed that limit or run right up to the maximum or do you want to stay within the payload rating.
Both of the trailers you've looked at will be too much weight, once loaded, to meet the payload requirements. The hitch weights will have you over the limit. You can't take the advertized mfg's hitch weights as anything other than nonsense, it is a marketing tool.
