Listen to westend, he speaks the truth. The advertised toungue weight of a TT can be as misleading as the advertised tow rating of a vehicle.
Those tongue weights are sometimes taken just as a percentage of a TT's weight.....when the TT does not have a number of options installed. Awnings, battery, (full) propane tanks, maybe a television or microwave, etc.
I realize it's frustrating.....it really is.
