For a "want" - comfortable folding chairs. When we started out, we bought the cheapo folding camp chairs. It is annoying to "relax" around the campfire in an uncomfortable chair. Over the years we "upgraded" the chairs.
More expensive is not necessarily better! You want chairs that are comfortable for you. Try to "test sit" them in the store. I found that a Cabela's high back chair is perfect, while my wife (who is small) found that a Coleman MAX chair (has like a 400lb rating) from Walmart is perfect for her.
We also picked up a couple of the folding cocktail tables that are similar to the chairs. They aren't common, but work great for camping.
Folding aluminum "TV tray" tables (from Walmart) work great to help with grilling - place to put food and equipment. Aluminum is better than plastic for "grilling assistance" in case you put something hot on it.
But I wholeheartedly agree with others who say to start out "driveway camping". After that, try to find a campground close by so you can swing home to get things if needed.
As I've said before, you will spend years loading up your camper with stuff, then years unloading all the stuff that you don't really need.
