Newbie headed to Nashville

I would suggest staying at the Jellystone cg on Music Valley Road. We have stayed there many times. They had lots of kids activities going on there when we were there. Most activities in that area really aren't geared for young children. We did take our son, when he was young, to the Opryland Hotel. He loved walking on all the paths in the gardens, took the little boat ride, and enjoyed watching the water/light show. They have several casual eating places that I think your kids would enjoy. There is a family restaurant on Music Valley Road called "John A's" that we like to eat at. It has live music on the weekend. I don't know if they have anyone performing during the week. You could check it out. Your children would be welcomed there. Hope you enjoy your stay. Jellystone might be a few more dollars, but has more activities for kids.
