Be flexible. There is a good chance you'll run into a problem or two. Weather can alter plans. You don't say how old the RV is, but there's always a chance of maintenance or repair issues. Consider getting a roadside assistance plan that covers RVs, if only for the peace of mind. Don't wear yourself out driving 500+ miles every day, either. The best part of RVing is when you're stopped and don't have to worry about moving on the next day. Your trip might be a bit ambitious for just starting out, but it could work out just fine.
