Newbie needs advice for 1st RV trip in a week.

We just purchased a used Gulf Stream BT cruiser 5291 which we will pick up in Missouri and then head out to Colorado to spend some time with my parents. From there we plan to go through Rocky Mtn Nat...

The 'best' RV parks might be full but if you prefer to pay less than $50 for a campsite, there are plenty of lesser ones than the 'best' out there. Even on the Oregon coast we got a spot with our 40' motorhome. In Yellowstone and Grand Tetons there are campgrounds IN the parks that don't even accept reservations.

I would advise that you pull in in the morning, if possible, if it's a place you really want to stay. Waiting until 5pm is not a good idea. Have a great trip!
