Welcome, the folks gave you good info. Your plan is ambitious, that's a good bit of driving. IMHO, driving more than 300mi a day is too much. If you start at 0800 set a distance of a tank of gas, give or take. Always if you can stop at places where you can gas up. If you run your genny while driving, it will drink your gas. Check your tires as well. In the 10 years rving, I've learned that making reservations is key. Yellowstone gets booked fast. I made reservations six months in advance for a seven day stay. Lots to do and see. Get that phone book of camping places if you can. Woodall s or camping world have them. Got mine from Good Sam. One last bit make sure you and your family have fun. Making memories and spending time with family as your kidos grow is priceless. Good luck, cheers.
