I had a tote years ago. Used it once, then it sat under the workbench in the barn/shop for 5 years, gathering dust. Then, I dug it out, brushed it off, and sold it for $15.
the reason it sat for so long is quite simple: 99% of the no-hook-up campgrounds we go to also do not have a dump station! Therefore, we HAD to learn water conservation. Since those campgrounds also do not have showers, we had to learn minimalist personal hygiene. The campgrounds do have vault toilets, and we use them whenever we can.
When camping around here, water conservation is not just a good idea, it is a NECESSITY!
