I sure wish people would realize that campin is different than staying at home. Teach the kids that staying in the RV is a bit different than what you do at home.

Use the campground facilities as much as possible - save the RV facilities for late night/early morning and emergency needs. Use baby wipes to clean of simple dirt, etc.
Then you will get the people posting again about why people use the bath houses when peoples RV's have a good bathroom....lol
20 gallons of each is going to fill fast for a family of 5. I would say to be prepared to dump it about every day or so. At least the gray. The black, you might can go 2-3 days. Not much of a vacation for you or your kids if you are having to stay on their butts the entire time about water usage. Advise and remind them every once in a while. They are kids. They won't remember. Do it how you want to do it. Either hook up and drive it over and dump, get a portable waste tank, and/or use the bath houses as much as possible. Or do a combination. When we had our TT, it had a 64 gallon gray tank. In the beginning, with 3 of us camping, we would need to dump almost every day. We were not too mindful of our water usage. After a few years, we could go about an entire weekend before dumping. Our Class C has a 29 gallon gray tank. We have learned so much that we can go an entire weekend on the gray tank. We also installed an Oxygenics shower head and feel that has helped some. If we had the 64 gallon tank, we could just about do a week on the gray tank for the 3 of us. Try to teach your kids (and wife) about conservation. Let them get involved with the dumping process. After doing that a couple times, they will start learning real quick...lol But most of all, don't sweat and enjoy your time with the family.
