Now here's a thought? After each kid takes a shower, dump the gray into a bucket and have the kid dispose of it! I bet your water usage will drop to ZERO!
Showers? OK, now I understand the problem. We NEVER take showers in the RV when dry camping! Personal hygiene can be accomplished quite nicely with a half gallon of water in the sink for a sponge bath or by using baby wipes. Even the much vaunted "Navy Shower" uses too much water, IMO, when the water supply and the storage for waste are extremely limited. ESPECIALLY when there is no dump station, which is often the case around here!
Water conservation is not just a good idea here, it is a necessity!
