Sorry could not reply sooner, no internet. Would not cool at all on gas or elec. Got to Enderby BC. and took it to Hillside Propane who have been repairing RV fridges for thirty years. They checked everything and advised that it was a faulty cooling unit. They replaced it and it works better than ever.Atco, who was the rebuilder in OR, advised that they do not warrant labour and if I return the old unit they will reimburse the dealer price to me not the retail price so it looks like I will be eating about$700.00 for my repair which never did work.

What cooling unit did you replace it with? I did mine back in Aug and in Nov the replacement cooling unit failed and that had to be replaced as well. With a new unit, should run on both gas or electric. Who installed it - did the installer check after installing it? Were all the connections made? Good battery? Some pretty good manuals on here about trouble shooting. Norcold should also let you run a diagnostic test with the push buttons on the control panel.

Does it cool on electric?

When you state "WON"T GET COLD" is that freezer and food section or freezer OK but food section warm?
Are the fans in outside compartment working?
Does the main flame light off.........and stay lit?
Is the rig level when operating fridge?
Any error codes?

Do the other gas appliances work OK......good strong flame on stove top burners, water heater lights off/heats correctly on gas, furnace runs/lights off/heats on gas???
Low gas pressure causes poor cooling of fridge on gas.
