Stopped at red light at inter section. Across the street is a white car that is also stopped at red light. Light turns green. The white car across the street starts to go. I still have some habit...

All depends on where you live. Driver in front of could be doing other required chores in their car. They could be putting on make up, eating food or shooting up.
Regional differences as follows IMO...
On east coast... the split second light turns you give a little toot. If they don't go, another toot, then steady horn.
On the west coast you wait for maybe 5 seconds, then you go ballistic in order to make up for the 5 second edge the east coast has.
Exchanges graduate as the following. Start with yelling, then middle finger, then ram into the other car or exchange gun fire, your choice.
