Personal protection question.

So I know I'm going to open a huge can of worms here and I am no troll and I'm not trying to start a gun control argument but I'm wondering how the law treats a hand gun in a travel trailer. I have a concealed permit and I know all about reciprocity laws when it comes to carrying a weapon cocealed from state to state but was wondering how the law treats a travel trailer and how it relates to having a firearm in it. To be fair I haven't started any research yet I just figured I would ask those of you who have been at this for years.

    Some states are tough others just require a gun locked in a box separated from the ammo. eg. gun locked in box in trailer ammon in TV. Seems confusing at times, :h
