I believe most states require the first towed vehicle to be a fifth wheel.
Most consider a fifth wheel easier to tow.
The length is set by the state. It's usually about 65'. Some more, some less.
Triple towing is also decided by the state.
You may be limited to a truck camper and tow the pontoon.

Luckily him and his wife walked away from the accident.
