Question about weight ratings
Still trying to figure out payload and towing capacity for my truck. (2016 F-250 Diesel). I plan on going to a scale and getting an exact weight of my truck. However, I am not sure what to subtract...

The crew cab 4WD diesel 3/4 ton trucks weight about 8000 pounds. 7800-8200 with a full tank of fuel. That looks like the gasser weight at 6800 pounds.
So the OP has about 2000 pounds of payload and 3000 pounds of rear axle weight before exceeding it's RV applicable ratings. Many people increase the rear axle spring rate on the 3/4 tons and run overloaded. The rest of the truck is very much more capable.
