Camping in the rain in an RV is easy. You always have a warm and secure place to retreat. Bring some books. Get outside and bring rain gear. In a small rig, making coffee is all you need to warm it up. To me it like having a fort as a little kid.
If people in the PNW didn't camp in the rain, they would just stay home all the time.
